I've heard several testimonies about Pastors' School 1975 and it's influence on people.
I remember specifically that of Ralph Sexton, Jr., and didn't make it myself to Hammond until 1981.
The third week of March is a sentimental time for me, it being the traditional week of Pastors' School. I can't help but think of those times.
*Having an hour and a half at the most to fit in supper, especially when you had to drive.
* Almost getting cussed out by a staff member because as part of parking patrol I had to tell him he couldn't park in his regular spot.
* Geraldine and Ricky
* The program once included taking more than 20 minutes to showcase all the dining options on site. At least by then you didn't have to rush to get back to the evening service.
So many more.
Since HAC days, I have been in IFB, Independent Bible and Grace Brethren churches.
Hyles wasn't my idle when I left, and his stature in my opinion has greatly eroded through the years.
Still, my Pastors' School memories can't be erased.
